It also includes evaluating and analyzing aging robot systems for overhaul or replacement, managing migration projects, and establishing preventive maintenance schedules. Troubleshooting complex robot failures, performing root cause analysis, and optimizing robot paths are key aspects of the role. Additionally, the engineer will develop and standardize robot programming guidelines, create comprehensive documentation, maintain software version control, and conduct technical training.
