Roadway Lighting Engineers and Designers
About The Position
AECOM is seeking Roadway Lighting Engineers and Designers for all levels to join their growing team throughout the southern US. Selected candidates will work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects. Key roles include Junior, mid-level, and senior level Roadway Lighting Engineers, Task Lead / Subject Matter Expert, and CAD Designers (Lighting). Desired skillsets include experience in developing roadway lighting design packages for highway improvement projects, experience or interest in alternative delivery projects, and experience in the use of AGi32 or Visual lighting design software, as well as Microstation & OpenRoads.
Requirements
- CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- Experience in the use of AGi32 or Visual lighting design software.
- Experience in the use of Microstation & OpenRoads.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in developing roadway lighting design packages for highway improvement projects.
- Experience or interest in alternative delivery projects.
- EIT Certification or PE License.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- State DOT experience.
