About The Position

AECOM is seeking to hire all levels of Roadway Engineers and Designers to join their growing team throughout the southern US. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects. The roles include Junior level, mid-level and senior level Roadway Engineers, Roadway CAD Designers, and Roadway Modelers. Desired skillsets include Design/Build or Alternative Delivery project experience, experience or interest in complex interstate highway design, experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads, experience in Roadway Design calculations including Superelevation, Stopping Sight Distance (SSD), Decision Sight Distance (DSD), Acceleration and Deceleration lanes, and experience using the 2018 AASHTO Green Book.

Requirements

Roadway CAD Designers & Roadway Modelers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Nice To Haves

EIT Certification or PE License
State DOT experience

Responsibilities

Design/Build or Alternative Delivery project experience
Experience or interest in complex interstate highway design
Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
