We are currently seeking an Entry Level Engineer to join our Highway/Roadway team in our Fairfax, VA office.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program
0-4 years of relevant experience
Ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple assignments
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Prior Internship or relevant work experience
Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification

Responsibilities

Participate in the planning and design on transportation related projects.
Support senior engineers in a variety of tasks in the field of roadway design.
Perform roadway design.
Conduct field investigations.
Prepare construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Develop technical reports.
