About The Position
A growing firm is looking to add a Roadway Engineer to their team! This role involves preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for roadway improvement projects, reviewing engineering work, coordinating with other disciplines, building client relationships, and mentoring junior staff.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of roadway design experience
- PE License for Indiana
- Strong technical skills
- Proficient in MicroStation and OpenRoads
- Experience with Indiana DOT projects and/or Indiana Toll Road projects
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Prepare plans, specification and cost estimates for roadway improvement projects
- Review and check engineering work completed by others
- Coordinate projects with other disciplines
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Mentor/train junior staff
