Roadway Design Lead Engineer
About The Position
AECOM's Transportation team is expanding in Georgia, driven by a strong portfolio of roadway projects and long-term client relationships. This role offers the chance to lead high-impact roadway design projects, contribute to significant transportation initiatives, and play a crucial part in delivering projects with a lasting effect. The position involves leading the development and execution of roadway design projects, providing technical guidance, quality assurance, and coordination among multidisciplinary teams. It also includes supporting project management through planning, scheduling, and client collaboration, as well as mentoring engineering staff and fostering technical excellence.
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 6 years of roadway design experience or demonstrated equivalent experience and/or education.
- Georgia PE License or the ability to obtain in 6 months.
Nice To Haves
- Experience leading Georgia roadway projects from preliminary designs through final delivery.
Responsibilities
