About The Position
Full-service engineering firm is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer/Project Manager for their St. Louis, Missouri office. This role involves leading the design and project management of various transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, highways, ADA compliant sidewalks, and multi-use facilities. The position also requires reviewing and providing input on critical roadway design elements, conducting traffic studies, and assisting in problem-solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer
- 6+ years of experience with transportation engineering and roadway design experience
- Experience working on municipal and/or governmental roadway/highway projects
- Experience working with governmental clients in Missouri and/or Illinois
- Experience with Power Geopak SS10 and/or ORD and MicroStation Geopak Drainage
- Experience with Highway/Roadway Plan Production
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- PE License preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead design/project management of roadway, highway, ADA compliant sidewalk and multi-use facilities
- Review/provide roadway design elements (horizontal/vertical alignments, cross sections, intersection layout, drainage design, utilities conflict/relocations)
- Traffic studies and field data collection
- Assist leaders in finding solutions to problems
