About The Position
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roads & Highways Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Denver, CO office. Your role will involve providing administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff, collaborating with engineers on Roadway plan production tasks, performing simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions, and assisting in the compilation of design data and the preparation of construction plans.
Requirements
- Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2026).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff
- Collaborate with engineers on Roadway plan production tasks
- Perform simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions
- Assist in the compilation of design data and the preparation of construction plans
