About The Position

Mazzotta Rentals, Inc. (MRI) is seeking a Road Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, possess a high level of technical expertise, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. The road technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operation of equipment.

Requirements

Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean record.
Preparedness to travel to different locations, customer sites, and construction sites.
Available for on-call or emergency services.
Willingness to work in various environmental and weather conditions.
Self-motivated, highly organized, with impeccable attention to detail.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Efficient problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical systems.
Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reaching, bending, squatting, and lifting 50 pounds or more.
High school diploma required.

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational training.
Certification in related fields.
1-5 years of industry mechanic experience.

Responsibilities

Travel to various locations and project sites to provide on-site services.
Manage logistics related to transportation and equipment needed for fieldwork.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues.
Repair faulty components and perform necessary adjustments.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in the field.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
