About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump and Power Road Technician 1 to perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs safely and effectively, with an emphasis on returning equipment to service and minimizing downtime. The role involves working with pump and power equipment and may require indoor and outdoor work. Sunbelt Rentals provides on-the-job training for eligible employees.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pump and power equipment.
• DOT physical examination (medical card).
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Understanding of basic refrigeration, electrical engines, and controllers.
• Familiarity with CDI and Munters dehumidification equipment.
• Knowledge of generators, power distribution, air conditioning, heaters, and shoring; understanding of diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors.
• Understanding of compressed-air treatment, including dryers, filters, and aftercoolers.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic flow drawings.
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 25 pounds or more.
