About The Position
Join American Structurepoint’s Transportation Design Groups (Road, Bridge, and Traffic) and contribute to projects that improve communities. The role involves roadway design and 3D modeling for projects such as roundabouts, bridge replacements and rehabilitations, urban and rural roads, and large interstate improvements. The position also offers opportunities to learn, cross-train or shadow across departments, and receive professional development and mentorship.
Requirements
- Student majoring in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey, Structural Engineering, or another related program with an emphasis on Civil Engineering.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office location.
- Strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and try new things.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to roadway designs.
- Lay out roadway alignments and create typical sections.
- Assist with site assessments and engineering report development.
- Perform 3D modeling and work with roadway and related design software.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
