Road Service Technician - Aerial & Construction Equipment
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Road Service Technician specializing in aerial equipment to join our team in Uniontown, PA. This position is ideal for a technician who can independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and other aerial equipment in the field while also supporting a variety of construction and earthmoving equipment. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable managing repairs independently at customer jobsites while representing the company professionally. Job Overview: Troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect, and maintain a variety of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment. Some on-call responsibilities may apply. Full-time position. 40-50 hours per week. Paid on-line and factory training.
Requirements
- Mechanical and Electrical experience with various construction and industrial equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to work with computers, schematics, repair manuals and warranty claims
- High school diploma or equivalent industry experience
Nice To Haves
- Welding/fabrication experience
- DC electrical experience
- Hydraulic experience
- Combustion experience
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect, and maintain a variety of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment.
- Perform on-call responsibilities as needed.
- Represent the company professionally at customer jobsites.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and other aerial equipment in the field.
- Support repairs for construction and earthmoving equipment.
