This role involves making electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators and loaders. Applicants should have extensive experience with heavy diesel equipment repair. The work environment is a physically demanding active construction site where you must be able to work safely around heavy equipment and construction traffic. You will regularly work outdoors and may be exposed to the elements—be it heat, cold, rain, snow, or wind. The work environment frequently involves exposure to moving mechanical equipment, high noise levels, dust, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, and potential electrical hazards. Safety is a top priority, requiring consistent wear of all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to safety policies and procedures. This is a high-performance environment requiring flexibility to work extended hours, especially during critical project phases or client deadlines.
