About The Position

The Road Mechanic maintains and repairs ADMAR-owned and customer-owned equipment. This role responds to service calls at customer sites, diagnoses equipment issues, conducts inspections, and completes repairs and installations. The mechanic also reports repair issues to the Service Manager and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.

ADMAR describes the role as a critical part of its operations and promotes ongoing training and advancement opportunities.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the service repair industry.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT medical card.
• Knowledge of gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a high level of complexity.
• Flexibility to meet customer needs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience repairing construction (heavy) equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive a repair truck to customer sites in response to service calls.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform inspections, repairs, and installations efficiently.
• Ensure equipment is repaired properly and in a timely manner.
• Perform complete equipment inspections and report repair issues to the Service Manager.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
