About The Position
The Road Maintenance Lead oversees, operates, and helps maintain safe and efficient road maintenance and parking lot maintenance at the resort. This position takes care of plowing and sanding resort roads, parking lots, and walking paths during and after winter weather to keep guests and team members safe going to ski or work. The Road Maintenance Lead works with different departments year round to ensure end goals are met in regard to construction projects.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a CDL license
- Previous experience leading and/or supervising a team
- Previous plowing experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
Responsibilities
- Lead team members successfully to maintain the resort roads and parking lots
- Operate heavy equipment and vehicles for road and parking lot maintenance
- Load trucks with sand and salt and spread in vehicle traffic and foot traffic areas
- Operate dump truck and other heavy equipment requiring a CDL license
- Perform clean up processes after storms to ensure resort wide travel is functioning
- Oversee all road maintenance summer projects
- Locate power and communication lines for successful dig safe projects
- Work with other departments throughout the year
