About The Position

The RO Stock Control position is responsible for safely and accurately managing restricted inventory, product on hold, and product disposition activities within warehouse and RO operations. The role ensures inventory accuracy, product traceability, and compliance with food safety and quality standards while operating powered industrial equipment and coordinating with Warehouse and Quality teams. Performance is measured by maintaining inventory integrity, timely completion of hold and release activities, adherence to safety and regulatory requirements, and effective collaboration across functional teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Prior forklift experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Basic computer and inventory system skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to accurately follow procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and seasonal schedules as business requires.
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory records while supporting food safety and quality standards.
  • Inventory control or warehouse experience.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or warehouse operations.
  • Experience with inventory management or warehouse management systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety, GMP, and quality requirements.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate organization of RO, PDR, and product hold inventory within designated warehouse locations.
  • Process product holds, releases, and dispositions in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures.
  • Verify product identification, pallet tags, coding, and inventory records to ensure traceability.
  • Complete hold disposition documentation accurately and within established timelines.
  • Perform product sampling and maintain associated records for hold and disposition activities.
  • Communicate inventory status, product holds, and disposition updates with Warehouse and Quality personnel.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to transport, stack, stage, and retrieve product.
  • Relocate materials, as needed, while maintaining product integrity and warehouse organization.
  • Load restricted stock while maintaining product integrity and warehouse organization.
  • Position pallets and inventory accurately within designated warehouse storage locations.
  • Conduct required pre-operational equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Maintain forklift certification and operate equipment in accordance with company safety procedures.
  • Utilize warehouse inventory systems, scanners, and product coding to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Verify inventory transactions, pallet movements, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged product, or documentation issues.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and legible inventory records supporting product traceability.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and RO work areas.
  • Assist warehouse and quality teams with inventory movements and operational priorities as needed.
  • Support labeling, warehouse activities, and other departmental assignments.
  • Communicate operational concerns, inventory issues, and equipment needs to supervision.
  • Follow all company safety policies, GMPs, HACCP requirements, and food safety procedures.
  • Wear required PPE and maintained awareness of forklift traffic and warehouse hazards.
  • Report unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, product damage, and injuries immediately.
  • Support product quality by following proper handling, storage, and inventory control procedures.
