About The Position

The RNG Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the management, planning, and scheduling of RNG asset maintenance, utilizing both internal and external support personnel for the RNG plant. This role requires close collaboration with the RNG Operations Team and RNG Plant Team to ensure continuity of support and successful maintenance outcomes, ensuring the RNG Plant meets production targets and asset maintenance plans. The supervisor will manage planning, communications, and support labor for maintenance outages, including major plant maintenance outages. A key aspect of the role involves understanding mechanical preventive maintenance schedules, electrical GEAMS, and maintenance schedules to ensure RNG Plant compliance. Maintenance resource planning is crucial for supporting the start-up and operations of the RNG plant. The position also involves identifying critical inventory and spares, developing procurement strategies, and analyzing operations and maintenance data to recommend improvements in productivity and efficiency. The supervisor will support operations by ensuring the RNG plant runs at full potential while minimizing direct costs, arranging for and managing third-party contractors when necessary. A strong emphasis is placed on actively ensuring personal health and safety, as well as that of others, by understanding and implementing workplace health and safety obligations. The role also requires supporting and complying with Company policies and procedures.

  • Prior supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with electrical and rotational equipment
  • Experience with setting and adhering to budgets and understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Experience with setting site maintenance schedules, preferably with both gas field, gas plant and engines
  • Experience adhering to Health and safety responsibilities and requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally travel by automobile and/or airline for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • RNG asset maintenance management, planning and scheduling both internal and external support personnel for the RNG plant.
  • Work closely with the RNG Operations Team and RNG Plant Team to ensure continuity of support and successful maintenance related outcomes.
  • Ensure the RNG Plant is being maintained to meet production and the asset maintenance plans.
  • Manage planning, communications with RNG Plant Team and support labour for maintenance outages.
  • Planning, coordination, and scheduling of major plant maintenance outages
  • Be knowledgeable of mechanical preventive maintenance schedules, electrical GEAMS and maintenance schedules in support of RNG Plant compliance.
  • Maintenance resource planning to effectively support start-up and operations of the RNG plant.
  • Identification of critical inventory and spares and support strategy for procuring and maintaining on site inventory.
  • Analyse operations and maintenance data to make recommendations for improving productivity and efficiency in operations.
  • Support Operations by ensuring that the RNG plant is running at full potential while minimizing direct costs.
  • Arrange for outside third-party assistance when required and manage and oversee any third-party contractors working onsite.
  • Actively ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of others through understanding and implementing workplace health and safety obligations
  • Support and comply with Company policies and procedures as advised and documented in the Company’s employment policies as amended from time to time and as directed by Managers/Supervisors
