About The Position

This position is responsible for completing the final phase of HVAC installation in newly constructed homes, including but not limited to installing HVAC equipment, registers, grilles, thermostats, and other finish components, ensuring systems are installed safely, operate correctly, and meet company quality standards before customer turnover.

Requirements

Previous HVAC installation or trim-out experience preferred.
EPA Certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
Basic understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and installation practices.
Ability to read blueprints and construction plans is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Install HVAC equipment including air handlers, condensers, thermostats, registers, grilles, and accessories.
Complete trim-out work on residential and light commercial new construction projects.
Start up HVAC systems and perform operational testing.
Inspect installations to ensure proper airflow, system performance, and code compliance.
Identify and correct installation issues prior to final inspection.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, builders, and other trades.
Complete required documentation and job paperwork accurately.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Represent Sutton Brothers professionally on every job site.
