About The Position

The Pediatric RN provides medical care and support to infants, children, and adolescents, while also supporting their families. The RN assesses and evaluates patients, oversees their care, reports changes to the physician, and promotes a culture of safety and excellence in care.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Current Alabama nursing license.
- BLS certification obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer.
- PALS certification obtained within 12 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- One year of pediatric experience.
- STABLE certification within 18 months of hire.
- Pediatric certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and medical care to infants, children, and adolescents.
- Provide expert care to the child while supporting the family.
- Assess and evaluate patients and oversee their care.
- Report patient changes to the physician.
- Promote a culture of safety and assure excellence in care.
