About The Position

Suma Home Care is hiring a pediatric RN to provide skilled, one-on-one care to children with complex and technology-dependent medical needs in their homes. The role combines high-acuity nursing care with the opportunity to build consistent relationships with patients and families. Nurses collaborate with parents and physicians to provide care that fits each family’s needs and routines. Patients may have cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, traumatic brain injuries, genetic disorders, complications of prematurity, or ventilator and tracheostomy dependence. Care may include ventilator management, close respiratory monitoring, medication administration through G-tubes, seizure-related care, skilled wound care, and emergency tracheostomy response. Suma provides training and orientation so nurses are confident with vents, trachs, and G-tubes before working in a patient’s home.
