About The Position

The ICU Registered Nurse, under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Nursing Supervisor, provides and directs nursing care for patients in the Intensive Care Unit. The RN delivers patient-centered care appropriate for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and plans, supervises, and evaluates nursing care while coordinating the nursing process with the medical plan of care and hospital policies. The role requires cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when working with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing, evidenced by verification of state licensure.
• Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification, or acquire ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Diploma preferred.
• Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities
