About The Position

Suma Home Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one pediatric home care to children with complex, technology-dependent medical needs. The role offers intensive clinical work—including tracheostomy care, ventilator management, respiratory monitoring, medication administration through G-tubes, seizure care, and skilled wound care—in a child’s home. Nurses work to provide consistent care and build relationships with children and their families, collaborating with parents and physicians on plans that fit each family’s lifestyle. The position is based in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability and desire to work independently and use critical-thinking skills.
• Compassionate approach and steady hand.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
• New graduates with a strong medical-surgical clinical rotation and an interest in pediatric nursing are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes.
• Manage ventilators and provide tracheostomy care, including emergency response.
• Monitor patients’ respiratory status.
• Administer medication through G-tubes.
• Provide skilled wound care for post-surgical patients.
• Care for children with seizure disorders and other complex medical conditions.
• Collaborate with parents and physicians on care plans that work for the family.
• Provide families with reliable care and support.
