About The Position

Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on the assigned unit. This is a day-shift position with 12-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including every other weekend and holidays. The stated salary range is $59.144 to $68.028 per hour, commensurate with education.

Requirements

• Current New York State RN registration and licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• NIHSS certification.
• TCAR within six months of hire.
• Two to three years of experience both scrubbing and circulating in major surgical cases.
• Previous OR experience.
• Excellent organization, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 25 pounds.
