Pediatric/PICU RNs at Catholic Health are responsible for assessing, monitoring, administering medication, documenting progress, and managing the overall care for pediatric patients with acute, chronic, and critical conditions. They partner with an interdisciplinary team, including attending physicians, other registered nurses, and ancillary staff, to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. A key aspect of the role is advocating for and building meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.

Requirements

Passion for Pediatric Nursing.
1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in a Pediatric or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
2-3 yrs of nursing experience with adolescents.
Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration

Responsibilities
