Alliance is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Conyers/Covington Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). This position offers no nights or weekends, promoting an exceptional work-life balance. Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
Current GA nursing license
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Other required training
Knowledge of equipment, instrumentation, and supplies required to perform specific responsibilities

Responsibilities

Pre-Op Nurse: Prepare charts, perform pre-operative assessments and patient education, assist with IV starts, administer medications, and assist with medication counts and narcotic log documentation.
OR Circulator: Circulate and assist the physician and surgical tech during procedures, prepare the operating room, restock medications and supplies, perform time out, communicate with the care team, document operative notes and times, and coordinate follow-up appointments.
PACU: Observe and assess patients recovering from moderate sedation, report any necessary assessment outliers to the physician, provide discharge education and prescriptions, and ensure patients meet discharge criteria per Aldrete score.
General: Ensure patient safety, maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines, ensure regulatory compliance, provide pre-operative phone calls, assist with post-operative phone calls, and perform other tasks as assigned. Document and maintain workflow in the patient's electronic medical record.
