About The Position
WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse to support student health and wellness in a school environment. The nurse provides care to students, manages health records, administers medications, and responds to health emergencies, helping promote a safe and healthy learning environment for children and staff. Full-time, part-time, and per-diem schedules are offered, with summer work available and no weekends.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Strong assessment and clinical skills tailored to children and adolescents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing.
