About The Position
The RN partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. Units include specialized care for Alzheimer’s/dementia residents, transitional rehabilitation, and long-term care.
Requirements
- Associates in Nursing and valid State of Maine or compact RN license.
- 1-3 years previous RN experience preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days per week and float to other units as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect care to residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia.
- Deliver skilled nursing and rehab services to patients in a transitional rehabilitation unit.
- Ensure a home-like environment for residents needing long-term placement.
