About The Position

The RN provides safe and effective care to assigned patients and families in conjunction with the medical plan of care. The nurse independently conducts systematic, continuous assessments of physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs; plans and implements appropriate interventions; evaluates their effectiveness; and adjusts the plan of care in a timely manner. This position is in General Surgery in Joplin and is scheduled for full-time day work at 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license, or a current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If holding a compact license, it must be from the nurse’s state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform systematic and continuous assessments of assigned patients’ and families’ physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs in conjunction with the medical plan of care.
• Plan and implement appropriate interventions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust the plan of care in a timely manner.
• Provide safe and effective care.
