About The Position

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Family Practice Center located in Edgewood, KY! Shift/Hours: Full-Time Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM with every 4th Saturday from 8AM-12PM Job Description: The licensed registered nurse is a professional nurse who is responsible and accountable for providing evidence-based clinical care to designated patients utilizing the nursing process. This is accomplished by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care according to established ethical/cultural codes and standards of nursing practices and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes. Must demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background. Requirements

Graduate from accredited School of Nursing
If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence.
Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed.
Demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory
Clinical practice standards and policies
Competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures
Able to critically think and problem solve in routine and emergency situations
Prior experience as an RN.

Responsibilities
