About The Position
Putnam County Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse for a PRN position within an outpatient Oncology/Infusion Clinic. PRN commitment of one (1) eight (8) hour shift per month. Additional hours available in event of sickness, FMLA, vacations, etc. This RN would be responsible for assisting with daily tasks in the infusion center including but not limited to: hanging chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusions, port access, lab draws, and Outpatient Nursing Services.
Requirements
- Current Indiana RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Driver's License
- 18+ years of age
Nice To Haves
- Chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification within 6 months of hire
- OCN certification or 12 oncology related CEUs yearly
- Chemotherapy administration and porta Cath access experience
