Requirements

  • Current, unencunbered license to practice as a RN in the State of NJ.
  • Must possess current AHA CPR Certificate.
  • Minimum (1) year experience in nursing specialty of Geriatrics or Long-Term Care.
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred.
  • Post-acute experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to residents in a post-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor resident conditions and report changes to physicians.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate residents and families on health conditions and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
