About The Position

Asbury Methodist Village is seeking candidates with a long-term care background for a Registered Nurse (RN) position. This role focuses on providing individualized care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents. The RN will also be responsible for transcribing orders, notifying physicians of resident status changes, providing leadership to CNAs and LPNs, ensuring compliance with regulations, completing admission paperwork, and administering medications and treatments.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
• Current CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
• Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.
• Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.
• Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.
