RN - Flexible Pediatric Home Care: Infants to Young Adults
About The Position
BAYADA is hiring registered nurses to provide one-to-one pediatric home care in Ocean County, serving clients from infants to young adults. Nurses can select the age group and acuity level they are comfortable with, with care ranging from school assistance and seizure precautions to feeding tubes, tracheostomy, and ventilator management. The role is open to nurses new to pediatrics as well as experienced nurses, with comprehensive paid training and ongoing support. Schedules are flexible and may include morning, evening, or overnight shifts in 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. PRN, part-time, and full-time arrangements are available, with no weekend or minimum-hour requirements. Pay is $32–$44 per hour depending on shift and client-care acuity. Nurses receive one-to-one care assignments, weekly pay, and clinical support, including 24/7 on-call support. BAYADA uses Statewise for electronic charting.
Requirements
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing.
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one pediatric nursing care to clients in their homes.
- Care for pediatric clients across a range of ages and acuity levels, from infants to young adults.
- Provide care that may include school assistance and seizure precautions, as well as feeding-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator management.
- Complete electronic charting using Statewise.
