About The Position

Plans and provides nursing care for patients. Makes nursing diagnosis of the medical and emotional status of patients and recommends treatment options. Consults with psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff in designing appropriate treatment plans for clients. Test for vital signs of pain and ensures treatments of pain. Document all patient information on medical charts and follow physician’s written orders.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Ability to make nursing diagnoses
• Ability to recommend treatment options
• Ability to consult with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff
• Ability to test for vital signs of pain
• Ability to ensure treatments of pain
• Ability to document patient information on medical charts
• Ability to follow physician's written orders
