About The Position
Luxury Senior Living Communities is looking for an RN. The #1 priority of this position is to care for ill, injured, disabled and convalescent persons by rendering general nursing care.
Requirements
- Current Florida RN license.
- Must possess good communications skills, both verbal and written in English.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations.
- Basic math skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care preferred.
- Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, including IV meds, if certified.
- Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and determine progress of residents.
- Assemble and use such equipment as catheters, tracheotomy tubes and oxygen suppliers.
- Evaluate residents’ needs, condition and care and assist in developing nursing care plan for individual residents.
