About The Position
The RN partners with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. Responsibilities may vary across units, which include specialized Alzheimer’s/dementia care, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term care.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Valid State of Maine or compact RN license
- 1-3 years of RN experience
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to cover various shifts and float to other units as necessary
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care for Alzheimer’s/dementia residents with specialized communication techniques.
- Deliver short-term, skilled nursing, and rehab services for post-surgery or injury patients.
- Offer long-term care for residents in a home-like environment.
- Administer IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment as needed.
