About The Position

Mercy Retirement and Care Center is seeking an on-call RN to provide compassionate and effective care to residents. Situated on a lush campus in Oakland, the center offers assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services. This role offers a pay rate of $45 to $50 per hour.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited RN Program
Active RN license in the state, in good standing
Knowledge of DHS Regulations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work well and collaboratively with team members and external individuals.
Completion of a background check and drug screen.
Other pre-employment screenings may include physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a Nursing Home (Assisted Living or Long-Term Care preferred, but not required)
Flexibility, able to work the occasional weekend/holiday as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and effective care and treatments to residents.
Support the DON (Director of Nursing) with assessments, admissions, and other duties as assigned.
Ensure residents' comprehensive needs are met, in accordance with the Parkshore nursing team.
Review routines, calendar of events, and resident needs.
Ensure medications and supplies are ordered, in stock, and counted.
Ensure all charting and record keeping is accurate and complete.
Promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Meadows of Napa Valley.
Support the Culture of Excellence in all areas of responsibility.
Perform other duties as assigned.
