About The Position

You will work as needed as a Wound Care Registered Nurse, applying our nursing model to patient care. Your role includes assessing patients and addressing nursing issues related to health problems. You will also evaluate patient responses to care. Your job involves more than nursing. Help patients safely navigate their healthcare journey by understanding their needs. Ensure patients move smoothly through healthcare encounters without complications or delays.

Requirements

  • Min. of 6 months of wound care RN experience
  • Must have completed an Associate's degree in Nursing.
  • Registration as a licensed nurse is mandatory (RN)
  • Basic Life Support certification (BLS) is required within (30) thirty days of starting the job.
  • Possessing a solid understanding of nursing and patient care standards and procedures.
  • Awareness of the laws, rules, regulations, standards, and guidelines of certifying bodies.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and interact effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • A knack for critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Being vigilant in observing changes in medical conditions and able to communicate these changes effectually.
  • Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and tools used for documenting medical information.

  • Adjust care plans to reach desired outcomes.

  • Acknowledge and respect patients' unique differences and incorporate them into tailored care plans.
  • Advocate for patient confidentiality and autonomy at all times.
  • Become a resource for learning, facilitating educational opportunities for patients, their families, and staff.
  • Maintain a spirit of collaboration, partnering with colleagues and the community to improve patient care.
  • Apply resourceful problem-solving skills with a systems-thinking approach.
  • Continue to develop as a professional, taking part in professional development opportunities and providing community service when available.
