On our team, you will provide stellar care at one of the top healthcare organizations in the nation. Our Women and Children's Float Pool supports Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, and the NICU, including the essential step-down side of the NICU. Caregivers in this float pool provide care for Mother/Baby patients, pediatric patients, and Level II NICU infants, offering a diverse and rewarding opportunity to care for patients across multiple specialties. As an RN on this team, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient journey. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while caring for newborns, children, and postpartum mothers, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, enhancing their experience through education, support, and personalized care.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  • If in a Critical Care area an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification must be presented upon hire or within first year of hire
  • One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • One year of NICU/MB/Pediatrics experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care.
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
  • Educate patients and their families.
