About The Position

Colorado Visiting Nurse Association (CVNA) has an immediate opening for a RN Wellness. This position offers an excellent opportunity for RNs seeking shorter work shifts compared to traditional 8 to 12 hour shifts. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours varying depending on the clinic location. Opportunities are available in the Northwest metro Denver area, reporting out of the Arvada office. This is a part-time position with per-visit rates. Supplemental pay may be available based on position, schedule, and/or availability, including paid mileage, shift differentials, stipends, and overtime. Mileage and expense reimbursement is provided at sixty-two and a half cents per mile.

Requirements

  • Completion of an approved educational program for Nursing.
  • Proven Physical assessment skills for continuum of the population.
  • Current Colorado RN license or license from state of primary residence if participating in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
  • Valid Colorado state driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull minimum of 25 lbs.

  • Experience working with the elderly population and the public preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing direct patient care at all types of Community Wellness Clinics (Medical Foot Care, Immunizations, and Corporate Health sites), which are based on a wellness model using the principles of health promotion, health monitoring, health maintenance and disease prevention.
