About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Weekender position in the Pulmonary Medicine Unit at Edward Main Hospital in Naperville. This is a full-time role requiring 36 hours per week, with day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, including rotating holidays. The position involves providing professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Key responsibilities include utilizing critical thinking, assessing patient conditions, planning and evaluating care, monitoring progress, and delegating tasks. The RN will function as a team member to achieve unit goals.

Requirements

Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
