The J51 unit is a 24-bed cardiovascular telemetry unit that specializes in post-open heart, surgical, and ventricular assist device patients. This unit is fast-paced and provides excellent opportunities in nursing growth and development with the ability to care for patients undergoing innovative procedures. This RN position is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Weekender Flex Program and will require you to work two 12-hour shifts per weekend and one 12-hour shift during the week. While you are only working 36 hours a week, Cleveland Clinic will pay you for 44 hours of work and give you full-time status and benefits. This schedule allows caregivers to enjoy personal time during the week with family and friends and take care of any errands that will not interfere with a typical day shift schedule. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. -- 7:30 p.m.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience
