About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Cath Lab Department at their Galion location. This role involves assisting in vascular and interventional procedures under the direction of a thoracic/vascular medicine physician. The nurse will participate in patient and family teaching, and maintain a role as a patient advocate, focusing on the facility's mission.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience
- Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in vascular and interventional procedures.
- Follow established standards of practice under the direction of thoracic/vascular medicine physician.
- Participates in patient and family teaching.
- Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.
