About The Position

We are located at 400 Highland Avenue in Salem, MA. In this office, we evaluate and treat a range of urologic disorders in adult patients. Our team is board certified and includes experts in minimally invasive surgical techniques, such as laparoscopic, endoscopic, extracorporeal and percutaneous approaches. We are seeking a per diem RN to support our practice. Our practice is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - required
  • Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
  • Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred
  • Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
  • Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
