About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the clinic/practice setting serves as a licensed, professional nurse, responsible for direct patient care, clinical decision-making, patient education, and coordination of care in collaboration with healthcare providers. The RN triages patients, assesses needs, administers treatments, and provides nursing interventions, ensuring safe and high-quality care. The RN plays a critical role in patient advocacy and care planning, serving as a key resource for both patients and clinical staff. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to work autonomously within the nursing scope of practice.

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice (Kentucky, Indiana, etc)
  • Basic Life Support via the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire, if not already obtained
  • Associate's degree in nursing or higher from an accredited RN program

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS certification (for some RN positions, seek departmental guidelines)
