About The Position

Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care/Stepdown Unit. The RN Unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager, they lead safety and quality initiatives, focus on and simplify workflow, and contribute to the development of staff. The role aims to increase staff satisfaction and promote excellent customer service.

Requirements

Virginia or Compact Multi-state RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
ACLS & PALS or ENPC within one (1) year of hire.
BLS within 90 days of hire.
18 months nursing experience required.
BSN required.
If the graduate degree is not in nursing, then the BSN is required.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree preferred.
