About The Position

This is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a telephonic role. The primary responsibility is to provide telephonic education to patients and caregivers, focusing on disease and drug-specific education. The role involves following clinical protocols, working within the nursing scope of practice, assessing and documenting clinical data, and intervening as needed. RNs will act as coaches to empower patients, focusing on overall well-being and collaborating with treating physicians regarding new symptoms and health-related matters. The role also includes aiding clinical departments with new hire training, mentoring, and conducting peer-to-peer quality documentation checks. The position requires the nurse to reside in a compact state and emphasizes a patient-centered environment within an ecosystem that supports and advocates for its nurses.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) compact license required
  • MUST reside in a compact state
  • Active unencumbered license in the state that they reside
  • Completed the NCLEX or a recognized state board exam
  • Ability to apply for additional single state licenses without restrictions
  • Must have taken Microbiology in order to obtain California licensure
  • Knowledge and experience in the areas of Neurology / Multiple sclerosis, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Asthma, Oncology, or Pediatrics.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft applications
  • Minimum Internet speed: 5MBPS upload/2 MBPS download - Cable broadband or Fiber Optic.
  • Excellent phone etiquette

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years experience in a clinical setting preferred

Responsibilities
