About The Position
The RN will be responsible for providing care to medical-surgical overflow patients, including those with conditions such as CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, COPD, isolation, end-of-life/palliative, and postoperative from general surgery. Nurses are expected to titrate drips and read telemetry strips as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- WA or Compact License
Responsibilities
- Provide acute care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit
- Titrate Heparin and Cardizem drips
- Read and interpret telemetry strips
- Float as needed
- Participate in a 2-shift orientation program
