About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in the telemetry unit providing care for patients with various chronic conditions. This position requires trauma level 1 experience and involves shifts at St. Joseph main or Westgate campuses.
Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of telemetry experience
- Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
- Travel teams must have their own vehicles
- Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
- Men must clean shave for fit test
Nice To Haves
- Trauma level 1 experience
Responsibilities
- Complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes
- Maintain sterile field and complete lift, restraint, and wound care education
- Perform telemetry-specific tasks as required
