About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is responsible for delivering patient-centered care for critically ill post-surgical ICU patients, including complex trauma cases and those recovering from procedures such as CABG and TAVR.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience required.
- Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
Nice To Haves
- TNCC certification and prior experience in large trauma facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to trauma and post-surgical ICU patients.
- Administer and monitor medication drips and perform procedures such as chest tube and central line insertions.
